If a system applied here lifts or comes off within 4 weeks of your appointment, we fix that nail at no cost. No arguments and no hidden fine print: these are the terms.
What it covers
- Builder Gel, Rubber Base, Luminary and Aprés applied at Barbie Studio.
- Lifting or separation of the product from the natural nail within 4 weeks of the appointment.
- The repair of the affected nail, at no cost, with the same system.
How to claim it
- Message us on WhatsApp with a photo of the nail as soon as you notice it.
- We book the repair within the following 7 days.
- Bring your receipt or the name you booked under; that is all we need.
What it does not cover
- Breaks from impacts, bitten nails or product pulled off on purpose.
- Removal or touch-ups done at another salon, or product applied outside the studio.
- Acetone or chemicals without gloves, and not following the aftercare we give you.
The guarantee covers product retention on the natural nail. Natural nail growth (the gap at the base around weeks 3–4) is not a defect: it is time for your refill.

The studio
A private suite, not a chair in a row
Barbie Studio is its own suite inside Salon Suites, with a small team that takes its time with you: no background noise, no overlapping waits, and nobody rushing you out.
It is run by an owner & educator who trains other nail technicians and updates her skills every year at industry trade shows. That is what holds up the part you cannot see in the photo: nail prep, structure and retention.

How does the 4-week guarantee work?
If a system applied here (Builder Gel, Rubber Base, Luminary or Aprés) lifts or comes off within 4 weeks of your appointment, we fix that nail at no cost. Message us on WhatsApp with a photo and we book you within the following 7 days. It does not cover impacts, bitten nails or product touched up at another salon. See the full terms.
How do I know if I need Builder Gel, Rubber Base or Luminary?
You do not have to know. During the consultation we check your natural nail (thin, bendy, damaged at another salon) and choose the system. Builder Gel adds structure and strength; Rubber Base is more flexible for nails that bend; Luminary is the lightest for healthy nails. All three carry the same guarantee.
How long will my nails last?
A set done right lasts the full cycle until your refill. When a system lifts early, it is almost always because the natural nail was not prepped properly or the wrong product was used. Here, prep is the step that gets the most time, and that is why we can guarantee it for 4 weeks.
I am coming from another salon with product on. Do you remove it?
Yes. Removing product applied at another salon is $20, and $10 if it was applied here. It is done without over-filing, so your natural nail is never compromised.
Can I come in without an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome in the morning, subject to availability. If you want to lock in a time and a specific service, book ahead: afternoon slots fill up first.
What is the difference between Aprés, Acrylic and Poly Gel?
Aprés ($80) is the soft-extension system applied over the natural nail, the most requested by anyone who wants length without punishing the nail. Acrylic and Poly Gel ($70) vary in price by length. If you are not sure which one suits you, we decide during the consultation by looking at the condition of your nails.
How does the referral program work?
For every person you refer, you get one of our most requested luxury services at no extra cost: Jelly Spa Pedicure or Paraffin. Just message us on WhatsApp with your name and the name of the person you referred.
Is nail art charged separately?
Yes, and it is priced up front: French, Chrome, Cat Eye, 3D Relief and Matte Finish are $10; Baby Boomer is $15. Custom designs start at $10 and vary by what you ask for.
